  1. chadford — that 10-min wod was a killer. my forearm/elbow is completely wasted. i can’t even lift a beer, so i’m more than a little worried.

but never-you-mind: as discussed, here’s some dining suggestions for your carmel frolic. i can’t vouch for their “zone” qualifications, but what the hay: (1) Hog’s Breath (clint’s place in carmel), go there at dusk and sit outside around one of the fireplaces with an appropriate beverage, (2) Flaherty’s Oyster Bar (carmel, been there forever, but beware, owned by a lawyer), (3) Dametra (carmel, right on Ocean Ave., the main drag) never been there but, have heard good things, (4) The Lodge at Pebble Beach (inside 17 mile-drive, sit outside overlooking the 18th green — awesome view), (5) Sierra Mar (at Post Ranch Inn at Big Sur), breathtaking views and prices.

    `Okole maluna!
