Took the kids out last night to check out the Christmas lights and came upon this nicely decorated porta-potty. Thought it captured the Holiday Spirit quite well!

12/24/2009 WOD
We will be performing the “12 days of Christmas” workout today and it will consist of the following:
1. 100 M run
2. Push-Ups
3. Thrusters
4. Sit-Ups
5. Burpees
6. Lunges (each leg)
7. Hollow Rocks
8. Box Jumps
9. Squats
10. Pull-Ups
11. KB Swings
12. Wall Balls
This WOD will work just like the song. On the first day you will run 100 meters. On the second day you will do 2 push-ups and then run 100 meters. On the third day you will do three sit-ups, two push-ups and run 100 meters, and so on…Merry Christmas everyone!

I had heard about this WOD but never seen it laid out. Good luck to all who tackle it today, I’m gonna hit the ham instead and drink heavily. Apparently I visited albuquerque on the week they decided to ramp up lifting at their tiny and awesome crossfit box. The first wod was 10-9-8-7…1 deadlifts (150% bw)/pullups. Next up was 5×3 back squats then a brutal 5 round, 15-12-9-6 deadlift, hang pc, front squat, push press (135/95). Next day 5×5 deads and a 20 minute amrap 15 of each – pullups, ring pushups, good mornings, and situps. And then yesterday 5×5 bench, then 5 rounds 15 hang power snatch, 400m run. Thank menahune they are closed for the next four days or I might actually die and never make it back to my beloved arcfit.
Happy holidays to all back home, can’t wait to get back and workout with my peeps.

Posted by Nikki | December 24, 2009, 7:38 pmJosh you’re going to come back a firebreather! Great job with the 12 days today everyone, looked like a butt kicker! Feliz Navidad.
Posted by Christian | December 24, 2009, 9:49 pmNo offense, but I found this extremely clever and amusing:
The twelfth day of Christmas
Couch Glassman sent to me
Twelve posts from Barry,
Eleven “ladies” laying,
Ten thruster Hitlers,
Nine poles of PVC,
Eight blocks of paleo,
Seven rubes a rowing,
Six SMEs a-straying,
Five K from the RRG,
Four tribal tats,
Three tramp stamps,
Two ccs of test, and
Rhabdo right after pukie.
