Eating Paleo.  What the heck does that mean?  Check out this informative Blog at sacstrength.com on the subject from our own Lauren “ATP” Price.  It includes several references and some videos that will explain the philosophy behind eating the way the cave peeps used to.  Are any of you currently on a Paleo diet?  Have you noticed a difference in body composition? Performance? Anyone up for a Paleo challenge?  Post thoughts to comments.

  1. Great blog Lauren! I’ve been trying to eat less grains and more meats and veggies, but that blog got me motivated to try harder! I’d be up for the Paleo challenge with a little more info/guidance on what foods are ok and which ones to limit!

  2. Same here Lauren, great write up and it motivates me more to stick with it considering all the crap thats available out there. More processed than anything…it sucks. I got a couple tournaments coming up so I know paleo will give me an advantage in training. Thanks for your time on this. Hope everyone can slowly turn a new leaf over and seriously look into their health and fitness. Mahalo!

  3. Long time reader, first time commenter – Lauren, thanks for the blog! All the info on Paleo out there can be overwhelming. It was good to see it simply put and full of excellent resources (which I will be utilizing). I would be very interested in a nutrition meet-up AND a Paleo Challenge. I have a terrible addiction to sugar which affects my performance not only in CF but life overall. It’d be great to get back on the right nutrition track : ) Okay, so far me and Natalie. Anyone else want to start?
