Why American River CrossFit?

50 Double Unders

Sit-ups 50-40-30-20-10

(Complete 50 double unders after each round of sit-ups)

Last week I posed the question “Why CrossFit?”.  I wanted to get your thoughts on this type of training and why it worked for you.  The words “variety”, “intensity”, “challenge”,  and “fun” came up consistently in your answers.  Part two of my Q & A session digs a little deeper and asks the question, “Why American River CrossFit?”.   I wanted to know why you chose to come train with us and what keeps you coming back for more punishment and pain (exaggeration of course!).  I obviously wasn’t able to get everyone on film (sorry 6 am crew), but don’t worry your time will come-I’ve got many more video ideas waiting to be unleashed.-CN

I love these videos…..I can’t believe we have been at it for 2 years!! From the garage to this in such a short time is amazing and we all owe it Kat, Chris and Chad for believing in CrossFit and believing in us. Thanks for making our lives better with CrossFit, life would be terrible without it!

I second that girlfriend (aka Karry)!! My son has been coming since he’s been 4 months old. He thinks Karry’s house is ARCFit. Every morning he asks to go to, “girlfriend’s house.” I just figured out that he’s talking about the gym!
