Registration:
Registration this year is just like registering for the Open. In fact, if you participated in the Open, you are already in the system. Just use your same log-in email and password on the hope.crossfit.com website. You will be able to set up your own personal fundraising goals as well as your goal for your score on the WOD.

Coach Ali said that he would do a burpee for every ARCFit Living Social voucher sold. Well he’s a man of his word! He came into the box and got things going at 6:00 pm. Nearly 400 burpees and several beers later, Ali finished his last burpee and clocked in just under 45 minutes. In true ARCFit style, Cole decided to jump in and do all 385 burpees as a sign of solidarity with Ali. You two are crazy and I love it!

Speaking of the Living Social deal, obviously things are going to get a little busier around the box over the next few months. We are desginating the 7:00 am and 7:00 pm classes for the LS folks. There is some potential for overlap, so please try to make this new group of people feel welcome! We plan on adding a bunch of new equipment to the gym with the proceeds from this deal. Send me your ideas on what you think the box needs!

Speaking of the needs of the box (noticing a theme here?)… Dirty Larry had to unclog the sink in the men’s bathroom because someone decided to put a paper towel in it. Huh? I don’t get that nor do I want to try and figure it out. Bottom line, take care of the bathrooms and the rest of the gym and help the coaches out. No one wants to walk in and find a clogged toilet or sink, or garbage on the floor. Under no circumstance should the used paper towels go anywhere but in the garbage!

Also, our big recylce bin that has “recycle” conveniently written on the side of it is on the main floor just outside the locker area. Right next to it is a regular garbage can. Yet every day I come in and find plastic or glass in the garbage can instead of being recycled. The 25 burpee rule is still in effect if you get caught not recycling! Please put your garbage in the appropriate bin and take an extra second to make sure the gym is the left the way you found it after you train (clean!). Thanks for the help!

**12.5 News Update**

Several of our athletes took on 12.5 yesterday and said they had as much fun this year as they did last year (wink, wink)! T posted the top score for the women so far with a 101- not bad for a 41 year-old. We will be testing again on Saturday and will need a big, loud, supportive group in the box. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of beer to drink!
